Rockwool Flexi Insulation Slab 50mm
Rockwool Flexi Insulation Slab - 50mm (Pack/12 - 1200mmx600mm)
Rockwool Flexible Insulation(r) Rockwool Flexi Insulation was developed to be a multi-purpose dual-purpose thermal and anacoustic mineral insulation that features a distinct flexible edge that runs along one side. The FLEXI slab comes with a patent pending flexible edge that makes sure that the perfect fit is kept between the insulation as well as the framework.
The insulation can be inserted within fresh wood. The insulation expands into larger dimensions as the wood gets dried out and shrinks. Different types of insulation may be relocated, which causes poor quality acoustics or cold spots. Rockwool Flexi Insulation Slab 50mm has excellent thermal. and acoustic properties , in addition to being classified as A1 as non-combustible so as to provide that it is fire resistant.
ROCKWOOL FLEXI(r) ROCKWOOL FLEXI(r) is easy to install and offers the greatest efficiency. It can be used all over the house , and can be used for pitched roof rafters and in framed walls. Internal walls, interfloors, partitioning floors and walls as well as flooring tiles suspended from timber.

Description
ROCKWOOL FLEXI(r) can be described as an all-purpose thermal, acoustic and fire insulation that is unique in its degree of flexibility along one side. Its unique edge, which is flexible ensures that the perfect fit is maintained through the material and the framework to ensure easy installation and the highest performance. FLEXI(r) is perfect to be used to join frames in the walls, floors, partitions as well as roofs, with out the need to cut or removing. It is made of sustainable volcanic rock. It's impervious to fire and significantly reduces carbon emissions of a structure.
Applications
ROCKWOOL FLEXI(r) is able for a broad array of uses which include partitions for acoustic and fire insulation for floors, walls, and walls as well as thermal insulation for walls, floors and roofs.
Performance
-Thermal
ROCKWOOL FLEXI is available in a variety of thicknesses and widths with the thermal conductivity of up to 0.038 W/mK and 0.035 W/mK for 140mm and larger thicknesses.
-Fire classification
ROCKWOOL FLEXI(r) can be used to provide an inverse response in the classification of fire A1 as per to EN13501-1.
Thermo-thermal applications for timber frame walls
The benefits that can be added to thermal efficiency that result from the use of HP (HP) breathing membranes (BM) and the vapor control layers (VCL) over traditional membranes are described below.
Effective thermal resistance (R-values) calculations used to determine the condition of exterior cavities can be described as in the following order:
a. Standard BMI =0.18m2K/W: or
B. Tyvek Reflex BM = 0.540m2K/W
C. Protect Thermo TF200 = 0.77m2K/W
The most efficient temperature resistance (R-values) the kinds of calculations used to fill voids in the service are in the following order:
a. Standard VCL =0.18m2K/W: orb. DuPont AirGuard VCL = 0.680m2K/W
C. Secure Foil for VC = 0.78m2K/W
